I know it might be too early to talk about Christmas but holiday collections are being released and items sell out fast so we’ve got to talk about them! I’m loving the two ornaments below as well as the gold star garland – it would look so good draped along greenery on your mantle.

I’m also highlighting two beautiful art pieces – both of which I purchased this week to add to my front room. They’re both printable which makes them super affordable, just download them and print them at your local print shop.

The Christmas tree cutting board would look so great layered with other cutting boards behind your stove this holiday season and I’ve had my eye on those gold candlesticks for so long… its time to order them!

I’ve also just started a few new products from The Ordinary which come highly recommended and I just purchased this makeup brush set too – I kind of fell for the blush tone. Everything is linked below for your convenience.

Halloween books for kids

Halloween books for kids

We love holiday themed books around this house. I store them away and bring them out about a month or two before each holiday and the kids love rediscovering some of their favourites. I’ve rounded up some of our current favourites and some books that I definitely think need to be added to our collection! I know my 8 year old will absolutely love the book about a creepy pair of underwear haha. All the books are linked below for your convenience.

If you have been following me lately, you’ll know that I’m loving the colour blue right now and have incorporated a lot of it into my home and in the items I’ve chosen for my home. It can sometimes be hard to transition a coastal/ blue inspired home into fall and winter so I’m enjoying pulling pieces that are blue and coastal themed that work perfectly for fall and sharing them with you.

Plaid is always perfect for fall and in the dark blue colour shown below its the perfect fall piece to add to your home. I’m also loving the blue floral thermal for fall as well as the classic cream sweater and chunky knit scarf shown below.

Gold is always a favourite of mine in any season and there are so many good gold pieces right now. The grater set below is both stylish and functional, the gold edge on the marble tray adds just the prettiest touch of elegance to an already stunning piece, the gold toast holder though not an essential item would be perfect on a Sunday brunch table setting or (forgive me for jumping ahead) a Christmas morning breakfast table! I’m also loving the gold horse door knocker and if you have a dog, how cute would that dog wall hook be to hold leashes and collars! It comes in a few other dog breeds too!

Finally that marble and gold doorstop with the navy leather strap is soooo beautiful! I’ve also included a few fall books I recommend reading too! Everything is linked below for your convenience.

So who’s prepping for Halloween?! I just ordered the bat decals shown below and I’m excited to surprise my kids with a whole wall of spooky bats once they arrive.

If you know me well, you know I’m also always on the hunt for adorable planters and the scallop edges ones below are so cute and they come with the saucer for easy watering!

The boots are so nice and perfect for fall and can you ever have enough blankets in the colder months?! I love the blue colour of the one below.

Our bathroom renovation is still coming along and this week I’ve ordered a few small touches like these gorgeous marble and gold soap pumps and the photography art prints below for beside the bathtub. I love everything from this photography shop really… all her photographs are beautiful and would look gorgeous in any room.

And that’s everything in this weeks weekly loves! Everything is linked below for your convenience.

Okay, okay, I’m finally fully embracing fall! I think you can tell by all the items that caught my eye this week!

Fall to me is cozying up in an oversized sweater, reading a good book and having pumpkins here and there and.. everywhere haha. I’ve linked some of the books I’m excited to read this fall (I just finished The Charm Offensive and it was so good!), a few sweaters that I’m ordering this week and some incredible faux pumpkins I ordered for my porch. I’m also obsessed with those tiny little gold squirrels… they’d look so cute on a bookcase or console for fall. Finally I’m linking some adorable sneakers I just discovered and some of my favourite beauty products for fall (because… hydration!) and a new clean perfume that smells so so good! They also have a laundry scent that was so fresh too! Everything is linked below for your convenience.

Home Architecture books You won’t be able to stop browsing

Home Architecture books You won’t be able to stop browsing

I posted some of my favourite coffee table books in this post. Those are still some of my favourites but I thought I’d highlight some beautiful coffee table books that focus on home architecture next. These books are beautiful stacked on a shelf but they are also books you will definitely pull out and browse frequently if you love homes and home design as much as me. They focus both on exterior home designs and interior decor inside the homes as well. I received Country Homes – Mark P. Finlay last year as a Christmas gift and below I’ve shown some of the interior content of the book.

Many of the photos and designs are obviously aspirational – I don’t think I’ll ever have an olympic sized indoor pool haha but I love finding inspiration in the photos and ideas to take away. For example, I have similar arched windows in the front of my home and these pendants are so similar to ones I hung in my front hallway.

The details on this exterior are just incredible and so inspiring.

I absolutely love this book and enjoy collecting similar type books so I’ve rounded up 9 of my favourite home architecture books including the one above.
